Baby Portraits July

I had the pleaseure of shooting two Portraits last monday. One was a 4 month old girl named Cara and the other was another 6 week old girl name Faye.  Both shoots where done on Dublins Southside.  For all images I shoot in colour and then give the family a PDF of images to choose from.  These images are in colour and in Black and White.  For newborns especially, I find black and white is a better option as the skin tones on newborns can be blotchy.  I used four Bowens Heads on one of the shoots which had a Lasolite white background.  This background gives a professional portrait studio look to the images.  For the 6 week old shoot I used only one light , a softbox with a black background.   I did a mixture of baby on their own, baby with each parent and baby with both parents.  This gives plenty of image options for the family to choose from.  For more info and to view some amazing newborn images please visit my site.  http://www.ericronan.ie/
