A weekend of Weddings

This is my very first blog.  So I hope I dont ramble on or bore you.  I shot two weddings this weekend. One in Dunboyne Castle and one in Cabra Castle.  Both Brides were stunning and the weather and locations of both weddings were amazing.  I shot a mixture of classic and arty photography as well as the usual family posed shots which are alway neccessery.  It's amazing how many couples want natural unposed shots of their big day but if you dont get the tradional family group shots there can be hell to pay.  So in one way traditional wedding photography will always be a crucial part of a shoot.
The dress's of both brides where completely differant.  This can play a major role in the shots and style of the images.  A slim tight classic dress will have limitations to how the bride can move and pose in some shots.  So its important to keep the pose simple but artistic.  There are a number of images on my site which will give samples of both slim fitting and dress's with a lot of detail and large trains. http://www.ericronan.ie/  I hope I'm making myself clear on this point.  Anyway back to the weddings.  Dunboyne Castle is one of my favourite locations to shoot weddings as it has great detail for images both inside and outside around the grounds.  Inside there is a stunning staircase, sash windows and a beatutiful traditional Georgion Hall Door which I take numerous angle shots of the bride and groom in diferant poses.  The grounds are kept really well and there are numerous locations for great pictures.  Thats all for my first blog. on wedding photography
